Raga first, always
Most instrument references stop at the chord chart. On a sitar that chart is barely the beginning — and in an important sense it is not even the right question. Hindustani classical music moves through a single raga, one melodic line, classified by the thaat it sits under; it does not move through chord progressions the way Western harmony does. Sitar Warrior draws every page from that honesty. Chords and scales are labelled plainly as a 12-TET reference layer, charted string by string with the fret and finger named; and the ten thaats — Bilawal, Kafi, Bhairav, and seven more — are computed from declared swara offsets and the registry's real tuning, never typed by hand.

Sitar Warrior is made by Cyberpunk Industries LLC as part of the Warrior Network. When you want to compare an instrument beyond this one, String Warrior covers every chord and scale on 20+ string instruments — the two sites share their underlying music data, and each writes its own pages for its own players.
